Girls, What’s the best way to get out there after a long term relationship?

I split from my last boyfriend in August, he was cheating so was painful. After healing time I feel ready to date and trust someone again but not sure where to start.

What I always suggest to users here is to not force anything. Sure, be open to finding someone if that right person comes along. Just don’t try to force a relationship if it isn’t there.

I suggest looking around your local area for clubs or activity groups that interest you. You will be able to meet likeminded people that already share an interest with you.

That is a good way to meet people that you might click with. Plus, you get to do something you enjoy. I know in my area, there are cooking groups. Personally, I love to cook, and if I were single, that is where I would start. It is something that interests me.

Look for something similar that interests you. That is an easy way to ease back into the dating market. I never suggest online dating. Another idea is to see what your friends are up to and go out in groups and do stuff.

Go to social groups like for board games or conversation groups. That way you might make new female friends AND more guy friends. Usually it's mostly all men that go to those things, so you should be able to have your pick of the litter

Move on as quickly as you can. People always say you need time to heal, but you heal faster by finding someone else.
