My best friend keeps opening my messages weeks later?

My best friend of 7 years only recently (the past year) has been leaving my messages on delivered. She doesn't open them until like a week later. She said we'd spend our birthdays together since we barely see each-other, but then had her birthday and didn't invite me. I'd got her a present and everything. I was really upset so I sent her a last message saying I won't reach out anymore but I love her and bye basically. And again she didn't open it for weeks and has only just seen it.

Should I just completely forget about her? She was like a sister to me.

You could tell her you want to talk about your friendship if you don't want to lose her, but remember how she treated you. It showed that she doesn't really care about your feelings. So, is that really your friend?

If you feel like it's worth ''saving'', try to talk to her about it. Tell her how you feel and try to sort it out, but if you feel like you are the only one putting effort into your friendship and that she doesn't appreciate you or care about your friendship, respect yourself and move on. I'm of the opinion that if someone doesn't care or put the effort in, you shouldn't either.

Yes, she is ghosting you. Just focus on other people for now, who knows maybe she might come back in the future. But do you want her back after she treated you like that?

Yeah that sucks and it sounds like she has no more interest in being friends with you, but try to ask her in person.
