What do I do if my friend keeps ignoring my messages?

I'm in the same situation with a friend I knew for years too. We haven't spoken in a long time. Every so often I'll send him a hey what's new with you message and he never answers anymore. Or reads it. And I know he's still alive because I can see the reels he Likes. Not gonna lie, it hurts that he doesn't reach out. And it kills me to think that he probably still talks to our other old friends. He was a cool guy.

Only thing you can do is just not try to message him anymore. Maybe he wants you not to. Best thing to do is just give him what he wants and walk on.

Your friend? Really not sure. Assuming you haven't seen him in person in a long time, he could either be sick or worst case scenario he passed away God forbid. But if you HAVE seen him and he's just not responding to you it could be because he just doesn't want to talk anymore for whatever reason. Maybe he's trying to reset his life, or people you both knew spoke badly about you to him and that made up his mind. There could be all kinds of reasons, but main thing is to just let him be if that's what he wants. He knows where to find you if he ever wants to reach back out.

Not much you can do. Maybe comment that you'd like him to respond. Maybe just stop texting him things that you're actually expecting a response to.

I can’t tell you how to feel about it dude, nobody can. All you can do is respect his decision, stop reaching out and live your life. If he says something to you then respond if you want but I probably wouldn’t after they’ve ignored me so many times.
