I want to breakup with my first boyfriend because he wants it casual but i'm scared of the heartbreak?

He wants things to be casual with feelings but not strong feelings but I want something serious. He said he doesn't want it and has been clear about what he wants. Should I stay in hopes that one day he might want something serious? I am scared to breakup because it's my first relationship and he is my first everything , I am scared if the heartbreak. I am scared of how long it might take for me to move on. But at the same time i know I should end things. What should I do?

Yes, you should end it now. Take the pain so you can heal. It will take as long as it takes for you to see you were wasting your time with someone that doesn't care about you so you an find someone that actually matters.

This is no different than going to the Dr. with a thorn in your foot and saying..."I'm afraid if you pull it out". Pull the thing out is the solution!

Waiting around for your boyfriend to change is not going to work... and no it is not about how worthy you are.

You know there's other people put there, that want what you want, right? You don't need to stay with some one that doesn't want the same thing, because your "scared". He just wants you for sex. Sex has blinded you. Time to move on. ske the harder choices.

Don’t be desperate because it’s gonna come down to feeling like you need to be with him just for the feelings you have for him. If you do that then don’t complain anything he does ever again because you decided to stay. But if you don’t stay this will no longer be a problem. He already told you he doesn’t want to take you serious. So don’t take him serious and date who you want while dating him.
