I don’t consider myself to be that attractive but my ex fiance was definitely one of the most attractive men I’ve ever seen and he had everything I liked in a man personality-wise. I don’t really see a lot of men like him and I’ve not really heard of lot of men doing same things for loved ones as he did for me in the past.

The ones who match him in attractiveness are really rare, I see them here and there and the most are already taken.

How would you feel if your ex was in the top 2 % of attractive men/women in the world?

Would you lower your expectations?

I've thought that each man I've dated has been extremely attractive. I don't/ can't really compare their attractiveness levels, as when I'm dating them I think they're honestly the most attractive.. & they all look so different 😅

I may look back and think "what was i thinking" but in the moment i don't think of things like that.

No, I wouldn't lower any standards or expectations. I give my all so i expect the same.

I'm not attracted to many people so if you catch my eye then you catch my eye.

Ahhh I hear you. I still think you need time though. That's how I was with my ex. We were together for 4 years. I was single for 6 years before I found anyone who was good-looking. To the point where, when my now boyfriend started texting talking to me, I wasn't giving him the time of day

If your ex fiance didn't work out, its because he wasn't a good enough match for you.

If you go for an even worse match, why would you expect the relationship to be a success?

Not only a shape, he was genetically blessed, he was literally one of the the best looking men I’ve ever met.

That body shape that he had, that kind of shoulders, that kind of perfect V shape I have yet to see on anyone.

And that’s not only it.

I mean he was amazing. I can’t think of any flaws, if I don’t consider his personality before break - up.

In the first 2.5 years he was an angel to me. In the last part our relationship got worse and he wasn’t as perfect as before personality-wise but that might be my fault as well partially.

He didn't love you. Which means there were things you didn't have in common.

You have to consider personality, hobbies, interests, views, goals, intelligence, looks, reciprocation, the whole package.

We lived together for a year, but later we were long distance due to China’s idiotic zero-covid policy. They didn’t let foreigners go in and he couldn’t leave either. He was waiting for me, we talked for 1.5 years of long distance, every morning and night, hours of facetimes.

He tried coming to me and failed. I tried many times and failed. Then after 2 years - he gave up on us being able to meet and his feelings slowly faded, broke up with me this August.

I was his first girlfriend as well as a fiance. He was always telling me, he could never imagine not being by my side and if I was ever a bit jealous, always told me not to worry as I’ve set such a high bar that no one could match up, but funnily he is dating someone else now. Even though I finally managed going back to his country.

He was really one of the most attractive man I’ve met, I don’t really find any men attractive these days, even though I get asked out by a lot of them, and the most of them would considered to be of a moderate to high attractiveness by other women. Sometimes I even doubt maybe I am asexual. Don’t know for asexual, but might be because I am demisexual.

I am same exactly! I am sorry you are the same! I totally understand how hard it is! It’s like I am 99 years old.

This week I turned down about 6-7 date offers. Much more last month, cause I was traveling and meeting new people.

And most men who have guts to come to you are usually conventionally quite attractive, it’s just I don’t feel anything. Something is missing.

For me though, while we were together we were perfect and we even got engaged. It ended due to long distance.

And he was objectively very hot, like a VERY VERY hot one. But that’s not why I chose him. I chose him because he understood me the most and because he was so similar to me as well!

Now match that hotness with the demisexuality, what you get is the very limited attraction pool, men of certain physical characteristics with those similar behaviors that I find very attractive and with that Chemistry I had with him - that’s like finding a needle in hay.

I miss feeling attracted to someone! I don’t even feel attracted to anyone. I am young and I like to think I am sexy, how is it fair not to feel any kind of attraction, it feels bad lol.

I want intimacy but can’t feel it with anyone, can’t let anyone close enough. Can’t feel the vibes that would make me want to be that close to someone.

In order for one of my ex's to be in the top 2% of ALL beautiful women in the world, I'd have to have met millions of women!! The women you see who get "ranked" as the most beautiful in the world are in some way "famous" or have notoriety of some sort. But they're a tiny fraction of all the beautiful women in the world. So - I can't imagine thinking "I dated one of the top beauties in the whole world", no matter who you suggest it could be.

An Ex of mine was absolutely stunning, way out of my league and I knew deep down if it didn't work out I more than likely wouldn't be with a woman who was as physically attractive to me. As shallow as it is to say I was right but I didn't move forward by trying to meet someone who I felt was at that same standard physically and I had some very fulfilling relationships with people who undoubtedly made me happier than she did.
