How do I move on from someone I loved so much?

We have been broken up for 3 weeks now and yet I can't handle it. I'm dying inside. I'm crying and hurting. I want to call him so bad but I know I shouldn't. I'm tired of this pain and at the same time I know I shouldn't go back cause I was treated awfully at some point. What do I do I need help pls😭😭?

The best advice I can give is to focus on your own life. Spend time with friends. Focus on your hobbies. Pour your life, time, and energy into positive things. I know it’s easier said than done. But gotta do the best you can.


Personally, I’ve also found that finding someone better really helps long term as well. It’s not something that happens overnight. But long term I’ve found that helps me too.


Definitely DON’T reach out to him again. If he treated you badly, you need to have the self respect, and strength to move on. And honestly, other guys will truly respect that.


Believe me. I know it’s difficult and painful. But you got this!

I feel like I'm dying. I have been bearing it. I've been numb. Unable to cry. All of a sudden I just broke down and I can't stop the tears. He wanted me back after breaking up with me dor 3 days. I gave him a condition and he declined. I know I deserve better but I miss me so much. I hate that I'm crying. I hate all of it. I hate it so much. I am so tired. Why me I didn't deserve it

You didn’t deserve this. You deserve someone better. It’ll get better and easier. I promise. It might take a while. But it does get better and easier.

I know it’s so difficult. You truly got this tho. Lean on your friends. Focus on other elements of your life. Eventually you’ll start to feel better.

You have a lot of purpose, and eventually you’ll find someone who treats you way better.

You gotta put your attention somewhere else. you can talk to other people, focus on exercise, or read books, or do something, anything else.

It's going to take a while, but that's the way to do it. It's hard at first and gets easier and easier. If you can find someone to talk to, I think that's a really great way to get the facts straight in your head and remind yourself of things like you said being treated awfully and the other person can give you some validation and help you not slip up.

I agree w all the posted stuff, even sleep w someone else if it helps. Work on you, gym, work, hobbies... Spend time w people IN PERSON. And if you can't go outside. Sun light helps so much. If you live In a city w shitty weather sit at a cafe w huge windows. Don't stay immobile because that's where the thoughts invade and defeat us.
