SAHM (25f) of 1 while pregnant separating from partner (30m) I don't know what to do?

I’ve been with my partner since a couple months after I turned 20

I didn’t have the best home life so I was pretty reckless around this time not taking a career or school serious, but I ended up in a relationship with my current. I got pregnant pretty quick into our relationship and I became a SAHM. My partner makes all the money, pays all the bills, and id say we have a bit of a financially abusive relationship.

My partner never gives me more money than what is needed for my bills, and when I have money I usually end up having to give it to him for one reason or another. This means I have zero dollars in my account pretty much 12 months out of the year. I have zero in savings. We have a 3 year old and I’m pregnant…

he wants to separate. I don’t know what to do. I have no money. No skill set, literally not one singular family member who can help and I don’t know what to do. I asked my partner to take my son with him while I live in my car and try to figure something out and he said no…… what do I do? Honestly feeling a bit un alivey atp.

You’ve known him for two months and you’re two months pregnant? I’d recommend go to a serious, professional, family counselor try to work it out. If it doesn’t work out, make sure you get heavy heavy child support meanwhile, go back to your parents house and raise a child.

No I’m 25. I’ve been reaching out to therapists for my own mental well being for a month now but keep coming across problems. He isn’t interested in therapy. My mother has disowned me & I have no father.

yeah you really dug yourself into that one. never ever depend on a man for money. never put yourself into a situation where you're not making any of your own income. seriously. you're going to have to take your kid and move back home, that's if you're able to... i'm not even sure if you'll be able to ever get a job since you're already pregnant and you'll have to eventually be on maternity leave anyways. you'll have to stay with your parents for at least a few years until your kids are a little more independent and you can leave them with your parents as you go work. and it'll be really really tough.

is there anyone you can ask for support and a place to stay. Relatives that can help look after your child so you can work? Remember this man is the father or your child so should you choose to leave him he has to pay child support.

Hit up all the food banks, and ask around churches for help and info on women's shelters.
