Had one of the worst nights of my life. My husband of almost ten years said he's not "in love" anymore. He keeps saying things like "Its not you, it's me", "you didn't do anything wrong", something is wrong with him and he can't give me what I need. I don't want to lose him. I'm still very much in love. I think he's just very depressed. He's not leaving but says he wants space to figure out what he wants. I don't know if I should try to convince him to seek help or just let him leave me... I'm scared there's something he's not saying and that's all just bs so he doesn't have to feel bad about wanting a divorce.

Something is wrong in the relationship. You should consult a couples counselor. They are trained in getting couples to discuss what is bothering them and what needs to be done to improve the relationship. They really work!

Literally just listen to what he says. Even if he is lying, it's not worth finding out the true reason. It's what he claims it to be. He doesn't wanna be with you anymore and he wants space cause of personal difficulties right now. That's all you need to know.
