Should you give another chance to a remorseful ex who cheated on you?

My ex is autistic and was very controlling when we were in a relationship. He would prevent me from being in touch with my guy friends and force me to speak more to my female friends instead. Since he had autism and a bunch of other mental illnesses, I gave in to a lot of his demands. Anyway, two months ago, he intentionally slept with his friend to hurt me, because I had met a guy friend of mine. My ex now says he understands what he did was wrong and wants us to get back together. I told him there's no point in even trying.
