My boyfriend is mentally tormenting me. He always points my flaws out all the time, never takes responsibility for his actions. He vanished for two months then came back like nothing happened. He barely talks to me, and I’ve said many times if he wants call it off then that’s fine but he will never answer that question. He says I’m controlling or “trying to pressure him or force him to talk to me” when I don’t. I will not hear from him at all every night. I said if we are going to work through things then we need to communicate but he will just say I’m inpatient or forcing him when I’m not. He said I’m too much for him and he wants someone who is confident yet when I say we can just be friends he won’t answer it?
I hadn’t heard him at all again last night and got fed up with it. I said this morning we should leave it and because he vanished on me before I don’t trust him anymore, he said “I was busy, don’t contact me again” then just blocked me. He is so cold. He says he cares but how can you treat someone you care about like that? And when he vanishes or blocks me, it makes me feel awful and affects my mental health very badly. Why does he do this to me? It feels like mental torture
