Has anyone ever come together with an ex who's feeling were truly lost?

Just out of curiosity, has anyone reconciled with an ex who truly lost feelings but regained them after reconnecting months or years later? Have you ever reconnected, hung out, and grew closer again? Is such a thing possible? You may have heard that once the dumper is finished, they are done for good.

Well I fell out of love with my husband for like years and we have been apart for a bit over a year. I don't think the love was ever there to be honest. But I am going back because my children, and I think it is just a better situation than what I will have with new people lol Plus we are both willing to work on the relationship and get along so I might as well keep the bloodline clean instead of half siblings or step siblings in the picture.
