My ex and I were together about 3 1/2 months. He split up with me a little over a week ago saying he had too much shit to deal with in his life and couldn’t deal with someone else. Personally, I feel like an old problem he had may have started becoming a problem again and that he needed space to deal with it.
He blocked my cell number so I can’t try to contact him. But I just mailed a birthday gift to him because I had already purchased it prior to him dumping me…. and I included a note saying that I apologize for whatever I had done to make him kick me out of his life, but could he please let me know that his old problem wasn’t becoming a problem again? I told him I still cared about him and that if at some point he wanted to reconnect I was here… because I wasn’t interested in anybody else.
he had opened up to me about things that he had never opened up to anyone else about. We had a special connection, but we both struggle with some mental/emotional trauma. I’m just wondering if there’s any hope for reconnection.
