My toxic/possibly narc ex’s new girlfriend of one month got a new tattoo of his car on her arm, and they got couple tattoos. Is this normal/healthy?

So my ex was very toxic to me and hurt me very deeply. We broke up four months ago and we dated a year. He moved on to another girl after two months. He broke up with me so cruelly and heartless…he accused me of something I didn’t do during a FaceTime call and blocked me and broke up with me. The next morning he asked me if it was possible to still be friends and when I said no bc I wanted to still be together, he got angry and said he couldn’t trust me and blocked me again. He has given me no closure or shown me any compassion and had made me feel like I was insane. I literally was doubting my memory and reality because of the things he accused me of because why would this person I love and who claims they love me do this to me right? Anyways, he got with a girl he had known of prior he said he’d never go for and had even cussed her out to her face because she was bisexual.

This girl is the complete opposite of me. Since knowing about their relationship, it’s made me feel like shit to say the least. I can’t even imagine dating someone right now. He knows he lied and he hurt me but I know he just doesn’t care bc he’s just so “happy” with this girl. I want to add she’s a downgrade in every way. They post about eachother constantly and I don’t understand why if you’re happy and fulfilled and preoccupied with someone special, why you need to post it all the time? A week ago she also followed me on tik tok for no reason and this bothered me considering she knew how much he hurt me. I removed myself from seeing the situation but before I did this, I had seen she got a tattoo of his car on her arm.

They’ve been together 1 month, and she did this. And they both got couples tattoos. Why would she or my ex do this? I genuinely unconditionally loved him and showed it and never thought to do this. It’s insane to me. It makes me wonder if this signifies that their relationship will last longer or is “better”? Mind you, their relationship started so fast to begin with.

You loved him, but it sounds like he didn't love you. That was his fault, not yours. He isn't worth your mental energy

I totally understand why u say this.. not disagreeing.. but I definitely care bc well…I care and have hurt deeply from the situation. How is getting a tattoo of his car on her arm normal? Do u think this is normal/healthy? On top of all I said in my post…

Any thoughts on what I said in the post? I already blocked and removed myself from the situation because obviously I didn’t go out of my way to see this. Considering what I mentioned…am I crazy or delusional to see or think this is not normal nor healthy?

It does seem like way too soon for all this to be happening, but they did know each other before the two of you broke up. Most likely, he lied to you about his amount of involvement with her and this had been building between them for a while. That’s usually what it means when people move on to someone else at lightning speed after a breakup.

They knew eachother but he wasn’t friends with her or had a friendship. I have no proof this was going on while we were dating so I don’t even make that a factor. They did know eachother but had never met in person. I knew that too because of his cousin who knew that info as well. She wasn’t the only girl he had raked badly about/of. He was always very hypercritical of me and judge mental and I am the complete opposite of her. He was also my first and I was his first as well.

I also know that right before him and her started dating at rapid speed, she had been dumped by a guy she was wanting to date literally maybe a day or two before they had started their relationship…so there’s that as well. Which is also how I know them talking before wasn't a factor.

I think in my mind because I’m still very hurt by how he treated me and knew he hurt me and knew he lied but never cared to communicate or fix it…really burns me. The fact they started talking, dating and posting eachother in a week/week and a half…was insane to me since we had only been broken up two months. Then to have seen her follow me knowing she knew how much he hurt me frustrated me because it’s just irritating bc there was no reason for it. Then when I saw she got a tattoo of his car on her arm.. it just made no sense to me and bothered me of course because the whole thing feels so off and I don’t know why if she was happy and secure with herself why she’d want to or bother following me.

I understand your point.. but in this case…what I mentioned is how it started and it’s just like red flags after red flags and I don’t know what they’re trying to prove or who they’re trying to prove it to but it’s so stupid because I’m the one who’s been heartbroken over the fact that he’s the one who ruined our relationship so it makes no sense to me.

He’s your ex move on. As for it being normal who knows. It’s not your issue to be concerned about anymore. Why you so concerned? If she wants to do something as dumb as that then let her it’s her life.
