Well, if is not a very deep relationship, then should be ok, but if it is like the Hearts have been put on the plates, then it might hurt, as you might encounter each other and remeber the good times had together, or might see each other with "new" partners and jealousy could come up, or other banter between ex's 🤷‍♂️

They suck, because no matter what you’ll run into each other from time to time. Everyone knows your business, so if you split on the not so best of terms be prepared to hear all the stuff you “did” or “didn’t do” … The worst part for me though is that people think I give a shit about what he’s doing when it just makes me sick to think I was married to him.

It honestly depends on if you ended on good terms or not. If you ended on good terms be civil if he talks to you. If y'all ended on bad terms it's best to just stay positive and Focus on yourself, but either way, respect for yourself and respect for him is key.
