Broke up in may moved into different apartments back in August. My work is very toxic to the point where it’s caused me to go on medical leave for mental health reasons

Yeah man, breakups can really mess you up sometimes. It's totally normal to feel like things are falling apart, especially right after ending a serious relationship. A few thoughts:
- Your whole routine and sense of stability probably revolved around that person. Now everything feels off.
- You're still emotionally recovering, so of course work stress is hitting you harder. It's all weighing heavy.
- Taking medical leave was smart - gotta put your mental health first when stuff gets really dark.
- I'd say give yourself till the end of the year to get through the worst of it. Holidays always make heartbreak hit different too.
- Try keeping busy with the boys, gaming, hobbies - little by little you'll feel more like yourself again.
- Hit the gym if you haven't been. Endorphins do work wonders, I swear.
It'll pass man. Be gentle with yourself through this tough season. One day soon you'll realize you made it to the other side. You got this!
Nope, you need to be stronger than that.
