Of course he had to pick a fight with you and blame you so he could exit stage left. He's probably done this In his past and it works.
Mine kept accusing me of "attacking him". He was completely delusional! I was sitting quiet in my chair. He said that several different times to me.

Then I read about people on meth and they will accuse you of attacking them when you aren't. Crazy!
