If I like them I keep them until I get a reason not to.
Where I grew up we make a special green cabbage stew for Christmas. With lots of cream and syrup. It might sound a bit boring but its probably the absolutely best dish on any Christmas table when done right.
I am proud to share that pretty much everyone we taught it to, my siblings and I, still add it to the tradition. Very yummy!
That sounds alike a great tradition but yeah needs to be done right
Some habits are hard to break, besides keeping the ones that important to you will carry keep alive that part of you heritage no matter where you happen to be in the world and blended in with new ones, makes it all that more special, to pass down through your lineage
I would go back to my family traditions that I grew up with. But it also depends on how long we were together and what traditions we had built.
I would keep whatever felt as a tradition without checking who introduced it to me :D
Good point

not been there... but I do guess
new chapter, new ways... but, whatever worked well, why not keep it... lol
True can keep some toss the others
If we ever got divorced, I would go back to the traditions before we ever moved, which is holidays with my massive extended family!
What traditions changed? 🤔
Most of my family is 1000 miles away from us, so we don't go back at Christmas time. We just have her parents and occasionally a couple of close friends at our house. I miss the massive gatherings back in the Midwest. At this point it would be over 50 people.
Awww I miss my large family gathering also.
Never knew half Thier names but it was fun
Now I'd be the weirdo visiting no one knows any more 😢
Keep the best of each relationship. That's a life lesson
Sometimes it is hard to while healing
It doesn't have to be immediate. Once it stops hurting, if you still like it you can adopt it.
Depends if there's kids.
I've got a son. If my wife and I separated I'd try to keep the traditions we've started for his sake
I won't be getting divorced. It's all about keeping things normal for the kids.
The last choice is the obvious answer to me...
Keep the ones you enjoyed.
I don't do "traditions". I have habits. That is about as close as it ever got.
Spend holidays with friends and family
Wow, life is so easy for you women.
Depends if you have young kids sure.
