So we broke up last may but we lived together until the lease ended in late August and prior to that point we lived completely independent lives but now months later she says we broke up in August

So we sat down and both agreed the relationship had ended and the entire time left in the apartment we lived in different areas. So I was thrown off when she said oh we just broke up in August cause I was thinking just because you moved doesn’t mean that you wasn’t broken up for then.
