@coachTanthony I LIKED her very much, and she was pretty and bubbly and never asked her out and a YEAR later she tells me - while walking through a store - 'Have you ever been going with someone, but met someone you liked BETTER"
I said DUH "are you in that situation? "
Her reply was..."Well, I always thought you were very nice"!
So yes, coach, i was too stupid and preoccupied with 'career' and running/training, to pick up on her liking me... She was a very pretty sweetheart.
No. When I was a kid, I had a crush on a few girls who were unaware of my feelings but, in retrospect, that was not love. It was just a self-centered desire and poorly controlled hormones.
No. If I love you you'll know it and if I don't you'll also know it. 😂
Lol , I liked that answer ,
@ilistengood It's the truth. Anyone who knows me knows this about me.
I believe you , I trulynthought it was a great answer ,

Yes, we all have been in a situation like this at one point or another in our lives.
I only say no because there is a difference between being in love and having crushes. I had crushes on ten dudes in elementary and middle school. They weren't simultaneous, I made sure that I would be monogamous. (This is when I was figuring parts of myself out. You know when teens try different styles of clothing etc.) Anyway, I let almost all of them know that I thought they were handsome. Except two, I didn't feel like they needed to know, and I expected to get friend zoned anyway. I hardly knew them, and in hindsight they weren't that cute.
I'm telling this story just because.
For a long time I had the biggest crush on a friend. But I knew that she didn't feel the same way so I decided that having her us "just" a friend was better than losing her. Over the years we have become best friends and I realize that it never would have worked. So I'm actually glad that I didn't pursue things anymore. We would have certainly not worked together.
Sure, who hasn't had a secret crush in school or lusted after a married or single friend or coworker but kept their mouth shut or never had the guts to do anything about it.
Of course I have. You don't bother telling them because you know that will only make it worse.
The old "who haven't" applies here. It comes since our little early young impossible crushes.
I had crushes on people who didn't know but I don't think that was love.
Yeah. There was a girl at school. I fancied her, but I didn't have the balls to ask her out. The worst thing is, I'm sure she fancied me back.
Simples...
I've never been in love at all. I've been infatuated. I have chosen to love. But what people call "in love" no.
No. But I have been attracted to someone and had a crush on them and they didn't know it.
Yes, almost every time.
All of my loves were unrequited, but at least I didn't have to hear their rejection.
Lol no. They knew it. It just was only reciprocated after I was married. Typical.
I think that happens to everyone at some point.
Did people not love 200 years ago? Life expectancy was what? 40 max?
Maybe it's love and healthcare. Wait. US healthcare sucks.
What do you this @lovedoctorbrad?
Yes , I'm pretty sure I have..
A number of times.
Nah but been in love with someone who didn't feel the same way
yes, years ago.
Pretty sure they suspected
No doubt
