Sadly I have done this before with an ex and it's mainly because we were in a toxic relationship & we couldn't seem to break the cycle. We kept making up and breaking up even though we were no good for each other. It becomes addictive and very unhealthy and when we finally broke up for good, it was such a blessing because it was healing in many ways. We both found ourselves and were able to grow into the people we are today. I don't recommend getting back with an ex because you feel comfortable with them or scared of not finding someone else. A lot of the time people stay because they're scared of starting over with someone new or just being lonely. That is never a good enough reason to go back to old habits ❤️
