I've always had trouble breaking up with my partners... I don't know the exact reason here, but maybe I'm looking for big reasons like cheating, big discussions etc. What do you think is a good enough reason to break up with someone?
Breaking up with someone can be really tough, but sometimes it's necessary for your own well-being or the health of the relationship. There isn't exactly a one-size-fits-all answer since relationships are as unique as the people in them, but here are a few scenarios where it might be a good enough reason to consider calling it quits:
Lack of Trust: If you can't trust your partner or they've broken your trust repeatedly, that's a big red flag. Trust is the foundation of any strong relationship, and without it, you're just building on shaky ground.
Different Life Goals: Sometimes you might find out that your life goals and aspirations don't align. If one person wants kids and the other doesn't, or if career ambitions are pulling you in opposite directions, it can be really hard to find a middle ground.
Constant Conflict: Disagreements happen in any relationship, but if you're fighting more than you're having good times, it's a sign that something's off. Constant conflict can drain both partners and make the relationship more of a source of stress than support.
Emotional or Physical Abuse: This is a non-negotiable. If you're in an abusive relationship, whether it's emotional, physical, or otherwise, it's not just a good enough reason; it's a must to get out for your own safety and well-being.
Lack of Communication: If you or your partner can't communicate effectively, it can lead to misunderstandings, hurt feelings, and resentment.
You're Just Not Happy Anymore: Sometimes, you might not have a big, dramatic reason, but if you find that you're just not happy in the relationship anymore, that's valid.
Growth in Different Directions: People change and grow, and sometimes they grow apart. If you find that you and your partner have evolved into people who no longer fit well together, it might be time to move on.
Sometimes, parting ways is the healthiest choice you can make for yourself and for your partner...

I have broken up with someone because we were not able to understand each other and as a result we argued a lot. We were very different. We both had different expectations of each other.
The reason you break up with someone is more complex than sorting it into: "a good reason to break up with them".
For others that reason could not be big, but for you and the other person that reason could be the entire world.
You never NEED a reason to break up. It's not like you sign your life away when you engage in a relationship. You should only ever be with someone because you want to be, never because you feel compelled to be!
Why are you looking for reasons? If it isn't working just say that. If things are and you still want to end things then stop dating until you get a grip.

If you're thinking of ways to leave then that's a good enough reason. Sometimes people grow apart. Sometimes people realise they want different things. Perhaps they see things now that weren't visable before. Pick what makes you happy as you deserve happiness and the partner you'd be with deserves someone that isn't thinking of ways to break up with them.
tbh any... but be decent and before break up try to address the problem. If it didn't work, just tell him why and move on...
If you need reasons let them go with honesty, that it sounds you need to work on yourself right now. The other person is worthy of so much move than existing in such an unstable relationship.
If either of us is unhappy. Not just a momentary unhappiness, but a lingering one. Both can be great people, but just not a good romantic couple.
Cheating, going nowhere. Its important to be honorable
