Coping mechanisms for getting over a friendzone?

A girl I've had several dates with said she thinks it's best if we dont move forward, which was heartbreaking to me because I really like her. It's been 4 days and of course I'm still trying to get over it. She's constantly in my thoughts throughout the day, so how do I keep it from obstructing daily tasks like assignments and such? Also how do I not cling onto false hope of us getting back together?
