He broke up with me via WhatsApp telling me he doesn’t want to see me anymore, that he is better off without me and that he is looking forward to the relaxed time without me. He blocked me and the next day he texted me again saying that we could maybe see each other in the future when we are ready. I asked him why he wants to meet me since he hasn’t lost anything and he said he might have lost a wonderful woman and that he wants to see me again. He also denied that he was just interested in sex but I don’t know. Should I trust him? Why would he change his mind over night?

Oof girl, this whole thing sounds messy and confusing. A few thoughts:
- Dumping you out of the blue via text is super lame and hurtful to begin with. Not a good sign.
- His reasoning for breaking up seemed kinda harsh and over the top too. Makes it feel more like he was trying to convince himself?
- Blocking you right after is super final, so his reaching back out so quick seems disingenuous. Like maybe he just wanted the last word.
- Saying he wants to see you down the line is meaningless comfort - of course he won't want you again until he strikes out with whoever else he's talking to now.
I wouldn't exactly trust his motives at this point sis. Sounds like classic f-boy nonsense - dropping you fast without real thought, only to dip back in once the dust settles to see if you're still lurking as an option. You deserve better than that yo-yo shit!
I'd leave him blocked and move on to greener pastures. Don't give him the satisfaction of thinking you're waiting around as plan B. You're a catch - don't settle for less than you're worth!
