What do you do with the stuff from your ex when you break up?

Photos, gifts, cards/letters, etc. Do you keep them or get rid of them?

If you keep them, how long do you keep it for? Do you get rid of it when you get into a new relationship?

Someone told me that they keep gifts that are cute, such as plushies.

The one time in my life that an ex-exodus was required I left my biggest suitcase full of his stuff with the super along with a few boxes. The suitcase was my parting gift to him. Pack away the pics and if the gifts are usable then I use them. They were thoughtful gifts so if they are good I use them. Eventually things will get thrown away. That is part of the moving on process….

i guess it would depend , a lot of people get rid of things unless there was some other reason why they liked the stuff or such , if it was something they specifically liked or used
