When you start forcing your kids to be with you, get ready for them to push you away. This is a fun gift from her dad for her bday, why not let her enjoy it and then you have your own plans with her on the actual day? I just don’t think you should ruin it and risk pushing her away.

How old is she? Is he her legal father? Custody? It all depends. But… Why would you, even if you could? Unless he’s dangerous to her then why would you ruin their Disneyland trip? Like wtf. Be happy for her that she gets to go to Disneyland and that she gets to spend time with her dad.

You probably could get her back but your life wouldn't be worth living if your the parent who dragged your daughter away from Disney land. Be smart just ask your ex to let you know next time in advance or ask and it's no problem. Plenty of single mothers wish they could get a night free from the kids let alone 1-2 weeks

Ok... so then you need to think about the immediate cause and effect: He's just doing this to get your goat and to make himself look like the big hero to his kid. You're yanking her out of "the happiest place on earth" is just going to feed his ego and make her yell and scream and fuss and tell you how mean you are and how she hates you FOREVER (which is about a week or two)... +5 for dad... You also need to understand that unless you've laid the groundwork out in family court that you need to give your permission for every gift, etc... He's just going to keep doing this. He WANTS to be "good cop" and then force you to be "bad cop"...

You should have instilled this practice long ago with consequences if ignored. If she felt it was fine to do this then you've let it slide in the past. You can't half arse something and expect results.
