What reasons would an ex use a fake account to follow every account that is following me?

Cut off a very egotistical ex who had very disturbing and disordered behaviour.

They called me 17 x in a row from a fake whatsapp. I've been blocking everything.

I recently started a new social account and yesterday, a new account followed me and went and followed every single account following me. Including accounts that are my other social media accounts.

I imagine its some sort of attention/surveillance thing. Do you think he's planning to message them embarrasing info?

True. He sent me harassing messages from a another number since i blocked him on everything accusing me of having a "f—d up mind".

He's made a fake clothing store account to stalk me and people I follow. I know it's him because of the clothing thing. He's seriously crazy. Should I message people and tell them to block the account? I feel like its a waste of my precious time.
