Why did my ex send our texts to his girlfriend?

My ex blocked me after his girlfriend and I got into a verbal altercation over something petty. I never had my ex number but he called me from his number to join in on it. Before I could say anything I got blocked. The next morning he unblocked and texted me. I texted back then he made it seem like I was texting him first then sent screenshots of the conversation to his girlfriend. She called to tell me to leave him alone and stop texting him? He could've kept me blocked or told me to leave him alone. He didn't block me until I told him to.

I've had that happen to me before. There might be some kind of problem in their relationship that he's trying to blame you for.

Your ex: needs to move on from you

Your ex’s partner: for arguing with the ex of her boyfriend. Instead of seeing the obvious issue which is that you are still in the picture. Which is a red flag

Him and I hadn't talked in two months but his girlfriend and I got into a petty fight over something that happened months ago. I was in his life before he met her and even after they became official he didn't remove me out of picture.

I cut ties with him two months ago because he had a girlfriend and he changed his number for some reason. Then this fight happened with her and I and he called me from his new number when he could have called me from her number. After the situation was done and over with, he unblocked me the next day then texted me first. I texted back but the only thing he told me was bye. I got attacked by her but he never once told me to stop or blocked me so if it bothered him that much, its very easily to block someone. If he didn't want me to have his new number he shouldn't have called.
