Ex keeps messaging me "Goodnight" every night since we broke up, what does this mean?

A couple of days ago ( Saturday ) I broke up w my ex due to personal reasons. He said he disagreed with me on the reason I was breaking up w him but he accepted it, didn't fight it, and didn't even try to get our relationship back. We both walked away from each other and haven't talked in person since. We both work with each other which is awkward now but thankfully we don't have to interact at work. Every night since we broke up the only text I get is "Goodnight" and that's it. He doesn't text me through out the day or anything just a goodnight text which I never reply to. What does this mean? I haven't contact him since Saturday. If he still cares, cool but why not tell me how you feel if you want me or this back?

He obviously still wants yo ass, I mean he told you he disagreed with the break up. Now he's slowly trying to get you back. I mean every night, even if it's for a second, you're thinking about him.

As to why he hasn't told you. Well because you broke up with him. It seems he may be trying to get you to bring it up. The whole break up thing and reconsider
