We until now have never really been together in the romantic sense. But we’ve known one another since childhood. We were talking and believe me when I say we know everything about one another. We’ve been with one another through thick and think and I honestly trust her more then anyone else (yes that includes my family) and I deeply feel she does the same for me.

We were sitting around a few weeks back talking about all the memories we’ve had together. The best of times and the worst of times.

She said that she doesn’t feel like we need to go through a long dating period she said she’s just ready to settle down and that we are just perfect for one another. She said she doesn’t ever want to loose me and how if we just got married we wouldn’t ever loose one another.

I don’t know why we didn’t get together years and years ago. We both admitted being in love with one another for a long time. We’ve had other relationships but they didn’t really last. Never really felt a genuine connection I guess.

I kind of agree with her. I feel like it’s time. I want to have a family and I genuinely love her.

Maybe you two are made for each other... But I must ask, What the hell took so long? Are you two not physically attracted to each other? There has to be a reason why you all never really considered this until now.

Please do not fall into the trap or desperation or convenience just to be together.

If I were you I would definitely spend at least 2 years seriously dating her just to be sure that you both are right for each other. Only after that should you consider marriage and children.
