Nope. One of my best female friends is already married, and even if she weren't, I don't think things would be great in a romantic context, even if either of us would be interested. The other would probably have a bunch of issues if we did marry. She can be a bit flighty. She can also be a bit... demanding... without talking about it; Like I could see her trying to always demand I don't do... something... on her whim (stuff that isn't an obvious bad thing). No, I would not get along with someone who constantly did that.

Yes, but that's because you were friends who fell in love and through that, became best friends. My girlfriend and I were friends before I even considered dating her. Obviously I found her attractive, but I wasn't considering dating her for almost a year after we met. So while we became friends, there was no romance in it before I decided to ask her out. After we started dating and adding romance into our relationship, I realized that she is the inky non family member I am fully comfortable around.
