I became friends with benefits with this guy at my job (I know stupid of me) because I had no intentions of dating after becoming hurt from previous person. For 4 months just doing me was peaceful and happy. Then my friends with benefits co worker came along he initiated everything, except I told him I’d want to be just friends with benefits. Fast forward he developed feelings within a month and told me about them. It was unexpected but I developed feelings as well, everything was going great until jealousy came into play. He would argue with me and blame it on me since we work at the same job he’d see how many guys would talk to me. Eventually got over that and we would talk about being in relationship together. But all of a sudden 5 months in his feelings changed real quick. He decided to work things out with his ex again and how we need to cut it off now. It honestly makes me upset since it’s only been 1 day of dealing with this, it’s hard to do anything and makes me want to take time off of work but I can’t cause I don’t have enough hours. From beginning I didn’t want feelings involved but I never mentioned it which I should’ve. How do you deal with this?
