Dude that's kinda weird that your boss said that to you. Normally a boss wouldn't call their employees pet names like "my love." Even though she has a boyfriend, that seems kinda flirty and crossing boundaries. I mean maybe she was just trying to be nice since you were going on break, but calling you "my love" is a little much. I'd be kinda weirded out if I were you. I would just play it cool and not make a big deal out of it, but also be careful. Maybe keep your interactions with her more professional from now on just to be safe. If she says other flirty things or makes you uncomfortable, you might have to tell her politely that you'd prefer she didn't use pet names with you since you're her employee. Or you could even mention it to HR if it continues and bothers you. But for now I wouldn't overthink it too much since it was just once. Just be aware that she seems to have crossed a line a bit with that comment. Watch out for yourself at work, man!
Her age could be a determining factor in this. How old is she? Was this in a private message?
28, over the mic so everyone heard
@ikonik I don't think she's flirting with you. She's probably just being silly. Even IF she is flirting with you, it is your duty as a man to reject her advances. She has a boyfriend.
eh, some people just talk like that
