Suicidal talks?

My mum cheated on my dad and she's saying it's all his fault for not giving her attention and when he apologized she said she couldn't forgive him but when she cheated she expected him to get over it within the day after telling him there's 3 men and she won't let them go and now his talking to me about suicidal attempts and his going to make her suffer for what she's doing to him, any advice?

Openly support your dad and call out your mum for her manipulative/selfish behavior. Tell your dad that you are fully on his side, validate his feelings and tell him that he deserves better. Your mum is acting childish and super shitty by blaming your dad for her mistakes, she’s the one that should be asking for forgiveness from your dad. Call her out on her bs and put your foot down, ignore her and take some time away from her. Just spend some quality time with your dad, go on a short getaway with him without your mum.

I did and was told it's none of my business by my mum and she's been screaming and swearing , doesn't help and my dad has been trying for a while but she doesn't wanna say it outright but she wants him gone and he can't deal with that

Don’t even acknowledge her presence anymore. Just take your dad out of the house for a well deserved break. Hopefully your dad develops the courage to divorce your toxic mum

I'm so sorry to hear that. I think the best thing to do is to show your father that you are with him during this hard time and show him all of your love and support. Show him that you appreciate him. Tell him that you as his daughter need him and to live for you, not for a woman that hurt him. Let him know that you are on his side and will help him through this difficult time and that the healthiest route would be a divorce and to focus on healing, try to convince him to try therapy and tell him that if he ever needs you to call you or send you a message.
