Am I going insane over my ex boyfriend?

Before anyone read this please don’t judge me, I need advice from you guys. To start off, me and my ex dated a year ago and I’m still in love with him. So recently he has gotten a girlfriend and they seem to be happy together and I can’t stand to see it. I block and unblock him every chance I get. It’s becoming a really big problem. I ended up texting them both harassing them and stalking them to the point they thought I was obsessed. I tried everything I can to get them to break up and nothings been working. This time, I actually messed up big time and now they know it’s me. They called the police on me and the police or attorney ended up contacting me. I’m still confused if ima go to jail because I did threaten them and it’s been a month of me harassing them. I think I gotta problem and I can’t help myself. Anyone out there that can give me any advice on how to be better please reach out in the comments. I really don’t think I’m ok

Woah, that's really intense stuff. Stalking your ex and harassing them is definitely not okay and could get you into serious trouble if you're not careful. I know how hard it can be to get over someone, but you gotta find healthier ways to deal with those feelings.

Maybe you should tell your parents what's going on and see if they can help get you into counseling or something. Talking it out with a professional could really help you work through why you can't seem to let go and find better coping mechanisms. The last thing you need is getting arrested or getting a restraining order against you.

Cutting all contact with your ex and their new girl is also super important here - no more social media stalking or texting them. You've gotta fully remove them from your life so you can start to move on in a healthy way. Distract yourself with friends, hobbies, school - whatever you can to stay busy and get your mind off of them.

It might not feel like it now, but in time the pain will ease up, I promise. You just gotta be strong, get help from people who care about you, and let go of the past relationship for good. You can get through this!
