What has a man like this to lose in a divorce?

A divorce happens. What has a man to lose and what has his ex wife to gain?

The man has 500 EUR (527 USD) in his bank account, rents an apartment-studio, sleeps on a mattress on the floor, has an armchair with a broken armrest and can't adjust it's sitting height, a shaky table, that's older than himself and his personal computing device (phone, computer 10 years old), a vacuum cleaner and a washing machine belonging to him. He also has a Steam account worth 500 EUR probably but i never heard of any divorce case, where the ex wife took ownership over someone's Steam account.

What has a man like this to lose in a divorce ra pe?

There's nothing to lose in this situation because there's no children and the man have nothing, only person that can lose something is the woman if she own a house or a company or something as it would be share in two though if the woman have debt (lets say 10 000 euros then the debt get share by two no matter how little the man has and he end up having debt while he din't have it before).

Yes, it's tricky you need to be careful if you marry, like never marry someone poorer than you never if not you're going to be in deep shit, also be careful of the ways she manage her money (is she a big spender? then in those case I would say no marriage is in your favor as she would surely have debt).
Also is there any college or any others type of debt? Her parents are they poor? Because parents and children can share debt (like if a parents die the debt goes to their child and also goes to you if you're married and once you divorce you'll still have to ay half of the debt of her parents) same with brother / sister is they died they would inherit the debt.
Marriage is good but you need to be careful and ask about their financial history and their family financial statut because even if when you have nothing you can lose nothing you can inherit of huge debt of your wife or wife family.

For example farmer in France have big money trouble and some of them decide to commit suicide but then the children / wife get two option take the debt and try to pay them while still conintuing to work on the farms and live on it or abandon eveything but then they're throw in the street with no money and no job anymore and finding back a job when you're a farmer is hell as others farms don't have money for newcomers and finding another job is also hard and impossible if you're living in the street.

If you want to get married the only kind of people to marry are either richer than you or self sufficient people who have self sufficient family and who all are not big spender.
So you need to know the person and her family well before entering in any kind of marriage or even think about having children.

Honestly, he looses someone that was at least once, there for him. A teammate.

I'm wiser and wealthier, richer, and less stressed knowing my wife. Losing her, that is what would really suck and what I want to avoid.

Some relatives... their lives so much richer finding their mate. The money means nothing. But other relatives, they be damn happy when that divorce is done as they toss up their hands in frustration. The money means nothing, but they will fight over the dead cow.

Court will probably make him pay monthly so he can't pay rent and lose his rental apartment.

It sounds like they both lose in that situation. If she makes more than him, then she pays him alimony if he requests it. If he makes more, then she gets it. But they both lose if they divorce over fixable things.
