Honestly when you consider your self with a significant other than get with someone else it is cheating. Needing space, and taking a break are not reasons to get with someone else. One day my man suggested I needed space, and I agreed. I had had quite a bad day receiving some terrible news about someone becoming quite ill. I was allowing receiving the terrible news to affect how I tested my boyfriend. Thus I thought space was a good idea. Later when he texted should we stay broken up. I said what are you talking about I did not break up, I agreed with you I needed space. I received the response text oooohhhhh. WhichI did not realize until another guy explained to me he said about space so he could have sex with another girl most defined. We are still together, and I love him deeply, and he loves me. I never questioned why he pushed for me to take space. Though, honestly I was not worried that he may have gotten with someone else since I agreed to the space. However, other women would most definitely not see it that way. They would most likely consider it cheating. Basically it depends on the man , or women your are with whether or not it is cheating to them.
