Long story short, one day he calls me and start to say he talked with his ex yesterday, n how great she is, started to belittle me in everyway comparing to her, the way he talked was as if he made a mistake being with me. Ofc i felt a little bad but i stayed silent. He called me again after few hours asking how i was, i said am sleeping as its late then gn gn done. I haven't heard from him for a week now. I didn't contact him, like after all he said, we hv been dating long distance for 3 years. Did we break up?

Someone who really loves you would not go all this time without talking or without giving you the closure of a proper breakup. It sounds like he’s still in love with his ex too so for all you know he’s reached out to her again. Like he’s been so disrespectful I’m surprised a relationship is even on the table still in your mind. I’m sure there’s other reasons but your self respect should be top priority.
