Why do women cause most divorces?

It's no secret that divorce rates have been very high in recent decades. The common perception is that men cause women to divorce them, but the facts show otherwise. When we compare divorce rates between heterosexual, gay and lesbian couples, the highest divorce rate (by far!) is among lesbian couples, and the lowest is among gay couples, with heterosexual couples somewhere in the middle. In other words, the more women involved in a marriage, the higher the likelihood it will end in divorce.

So, why is that? Why are women so much more likely than men to cause a marriage to end in divorce? Studies show that infidelity is not the leading cause of divorce, as most people seem to think. The leading cause is actually lack of commitment.

In heterosexual marriages, women are the ones who file for divorce in 80% of cases, and lack of commitment is the #1 reason. What does this all say about modern women?

Soceity & law rewards women financially in divorce with 50/50 of the property, often the family home, full child custody, alimony and child support. Often divorcees are rewarded with a portion of her ex's pension.

Take my mother. She cheated on my father for a year. Then got my father arrested with a fake police call she made at the house in regards to domestic abuse. While my father was in the jail house over the weekend she emptied their joint bank accounts, changed the locks on our family home and moved her lover in to our home with us her kids. She got a restraining order against our father and told social services he had been touching us. I and my older sister said it wasn't true but my mother and social services convinced my two younger sisters that he had. In the end it was all thrown out of court but 5 years had passed and my father was a stranger to my younger sisters by the time it was sorted. My father had to pay child support, alimony, lost the family home he built, lost half of his earnings and property to my mother and ended up in debt paying his and my mother's legal bills. My mother also took our college fund.

My mother's boyfriend was also a creep. He started an affair with me when I was 15 and my younger sister when she was 13. My mother called me a filthy whore when she found out.

Men have the most to gain from marriage, which is why they are the most unlikely to file for a divorce.

The lesbian thing they people keep spewing forward is irrelevant to anything. How many lesbian couples marry each other, like 1%, or 2%?

PS: Divorce rates are down in this country, reaching their lowest level in 50 years.

Because men benefit most from marriage, naturally they would be reluctant to leave it compared to women.

Like most statistics, these are misleading. Rely on anecdotal evidence and direct experience instead.
