Question about my boyfriend getting angry over knocking over flower?

My boyfriend bought me a flower one day, the next day he accidently knocked it over, and then he started swearing at me and yelling at me and becoming very hostile and aggressive, I felt unsafe, and he broke up with me cause he knocked over a flower... why on earth would he act this way?

Doesn’t matter why, if he dumped you and made you feel that way, he did you a favor. The big thing in relationships isn’t just the happy stuff, it’s also going through the hard stuff together and if he makes you feel like shit and deflects everything t be your fault when he’s going through it, do you really want that to be the man you spend your life with or would you rather a partner with more emotional maturity?
