No, my ex who I love the most can contact me any time I am single. She has me on her contact list, she's not blocked and i'd welcome her reaching out to me again as we ended on really good terms. She effected me more than anyone with how special our bond was.

Its when I meet someone where there was something toxic about it where the door is closed. Even if she didn't really effect me and even if it is my fault due to being incompatible, I then just don't wanna deal with that again. But those usually don't even make it to the relationship stage with me.

no, that's bullshit. everyone has coping strategies for rejection or loss of connection. some people block the ones they had affection for cause they can't stand talking to them. so for some people blocking an ex means the separation hurt them a lot. some people don't do that tho. so it's not at all generally true. why do you ask this?

Goes to both genders. If any of their ex was good and it ended on good terms then they know he/she won't cause any trouble. So there's no reason to block them.
