Why do guys block and unblock their exs?

So I was dating this guy for 5 months. We were friends for a a few months before we dated. It wasn’t SUPER serious since I’m leaving for university this fall. But this situation just confuses me.

So I’m 19. The guy I was dating is 24. He has a baby with his ex (that I didn’t know about). But we got in this argument and he let it spill that he has a daughter that he never met, never took responsibility for and has been avoiding sending child support. Then goes off to say that he constantly blocks and unblocks his baby momma and will sometimes creep on her Snapchat stories where it’s just selfies of her.

I was curious. So I looked her up. And she’s extremely successful. She works in the medical field. She looks like she has a great life. While this guy works at a hardware store. Don’t get me wrong, the pay is good but it’s not something that’s good for forever. It’s something that’s good while you’re in college and he’s not in college (another thing he lied about. He told me he was going to college)

I broke up with him when all of this came out. I’m just curious. Why do guys block and unblock their exs? (I also had a diff ex who did this but he did it to me) like he’s keeping tabs on her but never made contact. Why?

That answer is very easy.

I have blocked and then unblocked my ex after dumping her because I was in love with her and I was struggling with the breakup. When I dumped her I blocked her because i was so upset I couldn't bare to see her face. I also did it because I knew that just seeing her face would make me break down to the point where I couldn't move on. It turns out not seeing her ate away at me.

In your case you guys dated for 5 months. That is nearly half a year and I would say that is well beyond that 2 months falling in love face to the relationship compromise phase. Let me be clear... this guy is deeply in love with you an he is really having a hard time with the breakup and moving on.

One secret that you should know is that guys cry too. Guys hurt too. Guys feel pain. But because of asshole on GAG and other men we are told that any guy who shows emotion is a joke or is weak.

Your ex is in pain and loves you but he has NOBODY to talk to about it. NOBODY.

There is only one other possible reason if the above stated is not true...
