Is it worth to finish relationship if my husband checked out a girl's profile on ig because he found her attractive?

It happened few days after marriage, she is a random girl we met at language exam, he will never meet her again and she is not a friend of him. He said she was interesting and attractive and he wasn't going to text her, just wanted to look at her picture out of curiosity. I feel terrible and cannot understand and forgive it. What it can mean and is it a sign he is a cheater?

That being said it’s not behavior that needs threaten the relationship. A man or women finding another person attractive whist in a relationship is common place , it’s what they choose to do about it if anything that makes the difference.


The fact that he owned his actions and explained them makes me think it was likely innocent curiosity but it certainly doesn’t mean he is more likely to cheat than a guy that hasn’t been caught looking at attention seeking woman on IG.


Finally , please consider that it’s unlikely you will ever meet a guy who doesn’t notice attractive women , I mean he is married to you right?

But she was not an actress or someone incredibly beautiful, he basically spent with her like 20 minutes talking, also said she was nice with him. No I don’t believe it needs to be about what she has or how she looks over you. I’m not condoning his actions or defending him I’m just commenting that it’s not uncommon for anyone to look at anyone else and notice that they are attractive , he took it a step further and checked her out on IG but that doesn’t have to mean anything more than curiosity and it certainly doesn’t mean your not good enough in any way , that’s what your choosing to believe. You will never be able to police his thoughts or intentions only judge him by what he says vs what he does and now he knows that you are offended by him looking at her on IG I’m sure you won’t ‘catch’ him again
