Have you ever been totally blindsided by a breakup and how did you cope?

Everytime... she was cheating. Just is what it is. In my case they didn't find a better man. They just found me while they had a man, hid it, let me fuck the shit out of them and think we had something going on, and then they try to disappear back into what they are cheating on and save it.

I mean I've cheated before, but I didn't lie to the chick like I was single or try to get her to fall in love with me. The chicks I ran into in my single years... taken, cheating, lying to me and their man, and just fucked up in so many ways. Women lying to me has transformed my opinion on them... my red pill was getting lied to so much that I just don't believe a damn thing a woman says anymore. They do nothing but lie. About emotions, feelings, reality even... just lies.

I'm not offended nore panacking like I did something wrong and I can fix it... I just know they're lying about something and it's not my problem.

Yes when I was 38 I was caught off guard. The dating relationship was going so well and we had common interests. But after two months, it was over just totally out of nowhere. Nothing to try to reconcile when i didn't know where the breakup came from in the first place. I found out later that she reconciled with an ex while we were dating and then that left me out of the picture. Turns out I dodged a bullet anyway because she has been married and divorced at least twice since then. Maybe 3 times.

Yah my ex just disappeared the day I signed for a house we were both going to live in. Didn't see him for a week , when he finally showed up he said he thought we were moving too fast 🙃 It was his idea.

Yes, I dated somebody for almost a year. We saw each other every weekend. We went to different schools. I really loved this girl. The weekend after Thanksgiving she tells me she has a lot of schoolwork to do and couldn't come and see me. I was dissapointed but understood.

So on Saturday night I go to a bar in her hometown that we used to frequent. I was going to watch the hockey game on TV and maybe feel closer to her. As I sat at the bar I looked around the room and there was my girlfriend sitting in a booth with her boyfriend from high school. It was obvious that they were not just talking about the good old days.

I was totally blindsided and was sick about it. I was afraid of what I would do if I stayed. I got up and walked out. My now Ex girlfriend saw me and I expected her to follow me outside to explain of apologize or something but she just sat there and watchd me leave.

I drove down the road a few miles before I had to pull over and puke.

For me, every breakup has been difficult and rather traumatic. Time is the only way to heal wounds. Some emotional scar tissue will always remain.

That being said, you gradually learn that a closed door is better kept shut. You need to empty your head and move on.

Ya once. And it was the one that was the most obvious too. I trusted her too much and it lead to my perception of her drifting from who she really was. After the breakup I was feeling so lost.

I went in my journal and the last entry was from a year ago, few weeks before we got serious and it was a 4 page essay on why we shouldn't date eachother, it accurately predicted everything that happened and it just fucked with my head so hard for a few days.

The hardest one took me a year of recovery, and I didn't make it easier by refusing, consciously, to let that relationship go out from my mind.

It's my silliest and nastiest psychological move ever.

I can't even use the excuse of youth for that one. Then one day I just realized I had moved on, hope and peace of mind came back to me. But it took me so long.

Yeah I kind of was back in high school. I cried and I talked to my friends and eventually I got over it.

Yes. My ex wife. Came out of nowhere. Hit me like a ton of bricks. Took me a year to recover completely. I started dating again after the divorce was final and that totally healed me.
