Oh no. Did she say why she wanted a break? I mean if it is something that is minor like she has a family thing going on then maybe not too long. If it is something major it could be a lot longer.

Some context of why she is asking for a break would be good.

We had a talk, and to summarize. She feels burnt out, she can’t be herself around people lest my feelings be hurt, feels I should be my own anchor, grow as a person, relationship feels one sided, she carries the burden.
We want to make it work, thus, the break

Thanks for sharing that. I guess there really is no set time until she feels like she isn't burnt out. The issue I am seeing here, and I am by no means a relationship expert, is that where she says you should be your own anchor.

Relationships in my mind should be about leaning on each other. i don't mean that you should be like that to her on every little thing. I wonder why she feels it is so one sided. Do you feel that it is?
