If you could relive your first relationship, what would you change now?

Most first relationship are weird experience because you’re basically learning everything as you go. You don’t always know how to communicate, when to speak up, when to give someone space, or even what a healthy relationship is supposed to feel like. ❤️

Sometimes I wonder what would happen if we could go back with the understanding we have now. Would we notice the little things we completely missed? Would we handle certain arguments differently? Would we appreciate the person more instead of taking certain moments for granted? 🥺

Maybe some of us were too young. Maybe we were scared to say what we really felt. Maybe pride got in the way. Maybe we expected the other person to just know what we needed.

And then there are probably people who would go back and realize, “Nope… I still would’ve left.” 😂💔 Some relationships simply weren't meant to survive, even if there was love.

Personally, I think the hardest part is knowing that you can become a much better partner because of lessons you learned from someone you couldn't keep. That's a strange kind of sadness. 😔❤️

So I'm curious...

If you could relive your first relationship knowing everything you know today, would you try to make it work differently, or would you still let it end the way it did? And is there something you wish you had understood back then? 💭💕
