Did I do the right thing ending my long-distance relationship after he changed?

Hi everyone, I’d like to get some opinions—especially from the women here. I recently broke up with my boyfriend because he hasn't been acting like his usual self lately; to be honest, he’s been spending a lot of time with female friends and things like that. It’s worth mentioning that we’re in a long-distance relationship. Do you think I did the right thing by ending it? I really didn't feel comfortable anymore, and things were very different from how they used to be at the start. He wasn't paying as much attention to me, and I just feel like things changed a lot. I think I need to let him go this time—for my own good and out of self-love—though I’m not sure if I’m in the wrong. Also, I didn't reply; he sent me a message, but I didn't answer.
