Did I do the right thing by breaking up with him?

We dated for a month after knowing each other for a week. He fell HARD for me, and to be honest I fell for him too. However, I kept noticing I was being toxic and wishy washy. I kept getting upset over little things. I couldn't bear to keep hurting him, so I broke things off after a month. Instead of relief, I feel... empty and guilty. I also just don't feel sexual with him while he wants sex.

If I can't give him sex and be a healthy partner, then I should have ended things. Am I right for breaking up with him? He's so upset right now and I feel awful for hurting him...

You are right, and his feelings are his responsibility, not yours. There's no reason for you to feel any guilt. Most relationships don't last very long. Reminds me of a story I heard, I don't remember the speaker. He goes to work at a small pharmacy and the pharmacist says "Wow, you look pretty sad. What happened?" "My girl broke up with me." "Oh, that'll happen a lot."

Forget about it. It's time for him to grow up. I suspect that you may have been the first woman that gave him any attention.

Girl, you have to feel comfortable with whomever you are with. Sex isn't the only deciding factor when establishing a relationship. Yes, initially we try to get into each other's pants, but mental compatibility is more important in the long run.
