my ex boyfriend (25) and I (23) go to grad school together and have almost the same group of friends. they were initially my friends, but they all got closer to since since he was dating me. I've recently broken up with him because neither one of us seemed to be very happy, and for other reasons I won't go into, but I sent him an email after the break up and said if things change in the future, I'd be willing to reconsider this breakup unless these things are just totally not fixable between us (and yes, he admitted to doing some things that were not productive for a relationship). he said he doesn't know what to think at the moment and isn't ready to just jump back in all of a sudden without time to think.
i've noticed that everyone still thinks he and I are together, aside from a few that asked how he was, etc. to me and I had to tell them.
i'm wondering why he hasn't told anyone we broke up?
does he feel embarrassed or something that he did the behavior that caused me to break up with him or is it because he is still thinking if he wants to try again? please help! :)
