Dumper wanting dumpee back?

I ended my relationship with my boyfriend two weeks ago and I want him back. I've realized that I'm miserable without him. However, I am scared that when I call him, he won't want me back.

Does anyone have any experiences/stories of being a dumpee and the person who dumped you wanting you back? What happened? Did you get back together or not?

Update: I just called him.. He sounded genuinely happy to hear from me. I explained that I feel I had made a mistake and said if you don't want to be with me anymore, I'll understand. But if you do want to try and make things work, can we meet and talk? He asked if he could think about it and I said sure. Then he said he'll ring me tomorrow. Eek. What do you think the chances are of him wanting to get back together judging from this?

I think you should wait until tomorrow and see how things work out... And remember, it all depends on why you guys broke up... I've been with my boyfriend for two years now, and now we are in a long-distance relatioonship--which sucks--and we've been on the verge of forgetting about all we've worked for... but our love is great and we just keep working hard until we meet again... so just remember the reasons you dumped him...

Did he treat you bad or anything, were you not happy with the relationship? If so, then why be with him... If you guys were just having relationship issues, things that you know you both can change, then yh give it a try... :) and try not to hurt him... On the long run it gets complicated

LOL OMG I have heard of these stories numerous times and believe me it can either work out perfectly or end in double disaster in which will make the situation you guys had before WORSE.

Think about it first but umm...hahaha...yeahhh I haven't seen much success when this sort of thing happens.

Your boyfriend would have to be really really submissive and nice to let you back in his life.

I got dumped (or rather, dumped him by force) by my ex two months ago.

So far we have not gotten back together, and I doubt we will in the near future, if at all.

Tell me, what made you feel miserable without him? Is he seeing other girls? Do you see him happier without you? What is it.
