Why does he have to show off his new girlfriend to everyone?

Noticed lately how much my ex shows off his new girlfriend and it's p***ing me off. I know it shouldn't be but for the several months we were together he wanted to take things slow. He has only been with about six weeks yet they already share mutual friends. I was there for him when he needed someone to talk to about all this sh*t that was going on in his life and it was if I didn't exist to anyone else but him. I mean seriously what is the point making his relationship with her public on Facebook so the whole world can see? It was never public before and his relationship with her is the only thing he does make public. I'm slowly starting a relationship of my own now and don't see the need for everybody to know about it. Why the publicity stunt with her? I feel like telling his friends and her about how he was chatting up women on dating websites behind my back and how he told me to dress up like a tart to make other guys jealous of him. How does such a narcissistic pig get into a happy relationship so quickly while I was left with all the guilt and depression and was "completely at fault" when he dumped?

He sounds like me when I was 18, first relationship (for me at least), I mean narcissistic is just a psychologically correct term for 'complete d***' which like him I was, dumped my ex like I'm reading he did as well but that's where I grew a pair realized how I'd been and changed and I've been single with a few non serious near relationships whilst learning and improving upon each and he just got back on the horse without learning to ride. That's all well and good about me but back to you and him, he's a d*** or at least by jumping to conclusions based on what you've said he is, but my ex would say the same about me whilst failing to mention her faults and bitch riddled douche canoeness.

Anyway back to point sorry I wonder at times, look he's wanting to piss you off, make you jealous, he probably knows your trying your hand at boyfriends again and wants to say 'you have that thing ha I have this BEAUTY' its like pea cocking but with a women and not material things, best thing to do is ignore it, simple. He's your ex, no longer part of your life, he wasn't that bigger a part to start 7 months whilst not a small thing isn't huge either, and as he's no longer part of your life and as you are dating someone new there's no reason to feel angry at his actions in his life. Unless you want to ruin what you have with new guy and then blame him for that and basically just always be an emotional time bomb for him to detonate as and when takes his fancy.

There were faults on my part. I don't think any break up is completely one sided. He just tried to justify the things he did by saying he could have done worse or using the famous "any other man " line. Almost as though he can't just give a straight out apology without turning all the blame back on me. Even bad mouthed me to his friends and told them I was this crazy psycho bitch because I stepped up to him and told him off for been a player.

This happened to me as well. He wanted me to dress like a hot girl according to him and make other guys jealous of him. He wanted a girl with perfect body, perfect color, and pure as well. I knew he wasn't the guy, but he wanted to carry on. Anyway he suddenly stopped talking coz he was worried about the looks. I understood and I wanted to be free as well. But this guy acts like he is an innocent puppy, and now he's with a girl as well. He called me, and put pictures of them making them all public. I get angry when I think that he wasted my time period which I could find a better person and now while he's enjoying his life after doing all that, I'm still there alone.

I know that girls don't like to be told that they are wrong, but your sort of have the wrong mindset about this. It's not a good idea to be interested in your ex's life anymore. Do yourself a favor and forget about it, maybe go eat some ice cream. I see a lot of picture and movies where girls eat ice cream after times like this and they actually start to feel better.
